Homeless Pets Need Your Help!

The Humane Society is asking for your help.

It takes a lot to take care of these helpless animals. This year the Humane Society has been really overloaded with unwanted pets which means they are low on donations including cleaning supplies, food, and newspapers. At last count they had 87 kittens and cats and 45 dogs, which does not include the 17 foster homes that are bottle-feeding kittens. The humane society gives them shelter but these animals need your help too.

Here is the Humane Society’s Wish List. Again they need everything from cleaning supplies to food to toys and treats for the pets. If you would like to make a donation you can mail it in or bring it to the Humane Society located at 2036 Carolina Place in Fort Mill, right off of exit 85. If you have any questions or for more information you can call them at 802-0902.

In September the Humane Society will be holding the 1st annual York County putts for Homeless Pets Golf Outing and Cook-out. They are looking for teams and sponsors…if you are interested you can also give them a call.
