HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES THE DAY OFF WITH PAY AND DONATE TO A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IN YOUR COMMUNITY AT THE SAME TIME???

Dear Sir or Madam:

Located in York County the Humane Society is the biggest non-profit, privately funded, no kill animal shelter. We offer food and shelter for cats and dogs that are unwanted or abandoned though out York and Mecklenburg County. Because we are a no kill shelter federal or state funding is not available to us. Private funding is our only source to enable us to run the shelter. We realize that times are rough so we came up with an idea that may be of interest to you? Would you like to do fundraiser at your facility? Basically the way it would work is you, as the employer would donate one vacation day with pay. We hope this would not cause your company hardship. Your employees would donate $5.00 toward a drawing. Proceeds from the drawing would go directly toward operating our facility. The winner of course would benefit from a needed vacation day. We feel this would help us enormously, give your employees a chance of a day off with pay and satisfaction of supporting a non-profit organization in our area.
